Engineering Services

  • Examines costs to allow decisions to be made based on Life Cycle Costing techniques such as Discount Rates and Net Present Values
  • Allows informed decisions to be made that will improve aircraft availability at minimum cost
  • Evaluates whether to replace unreliable equipment, when to replace equipment and whether an upgrade is the most effective solution

  • Tailored management of complete publication sets
  • Publications are configuration controlled and updated with stand-alone supplements to cover amendments
  • Co-ordination with Lockheed Martin for the supplements to be incorporated into manuals when required

  • Repairs Centre of Excellence that will develop non-standard structural repairs outside the Structural Repair Manual
  • Repair solutions are designed, substained and certified for aircraft structure, parts, components and equipment
  • Fully approved Lockheed Martin Hercules Service Centre at Cambridge facility

  • Expansive knowledge and exisiting approved data built up from over 50 years of supporting many C-130 operators around the world
  • Ability to react and support the full scale of technical issues that may arise in providing support solutions to ensure aircraft availability meets operational demands

  • Independently ensures that the interpretation and incorporation of the airworthiness regulatory framework is adhered to and maintained Type certification airworthiness standard is maintained throughout aircraft operational life Establishes a bespoke information system for incident, corrective and preventative actions

  • Analytical methodology will provide recommendations to enable the continuous review and update of aircraft master maintenance schedules and associated publications
  • Regulatory compliance ensures aircraft maintenance programmes are optimised

  • Analysis of stock levels and location of spares to identify any shortfalls that will have a negative effect on aircraft availability
  • Cost optimised solutions are calculated that provide the greatest increase in availability at minimum cost

  • Obsolescence Management Programmes plan monitors and analyses risks
  • Supportability solutions will ensure equipment downtime due to obsolescence is minimised and aircraft availability is maximised
