Marshall Canada today announced the appointment of Angela Zimmer as Head of Human Resources, effective December 11th. Angela will report to Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services Kelly Meinema.
As a certified HR leader with a wealth of experience spanning more than two decades across multiple industries, Angela is known for promoting employee engagement, spearheading positive change management programs and collaboratively navigating complex HR matters.
In prior roles with organizations including Great West Life (now Canada Life Assurance Company) and AECOM, she has focused on building corporate culture and transforming transactional HR into strategic business partnerships.
“Marshall Canada will benefit significantly from Angela’s invaluable wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspective,” said Meinema.
“As a key member of our dynamic and growing leadership team, Angela will work closely with our existing HR team, ensuring that we continue to attract, develop and retain the talent required to excel in a rapidly evolving industry.”
Angela resides in the Ottawa area with her husband and daughters.
“Having been privileged to experience multiple postings across Canada as part of a military family, I am excited to be joining an organization with coast-to-coast operations from British Columbia to New Brunswick,” she explains.
“As Head of Human Resources for Marshall Canada, I look forward to contributing to our strategic business plans and leading the delivery of HR Shared Services across our business units.”
